The MBA Program at NUS is the number 1 MBA program in Singapore. Utilizing both classroom and experiential learning techniques, students a part of the MBA program at NUS gain the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive on the global stage. With curriculum flexibility, students can tailor their studies to best fit their needs and future goals. The full time MBA program is 17months in length with class time totaling 3 hours a week over 14 weeks.

Year One Description #

Featured Professors #

Jochen Wirtz

Professor Wirtz is currently professor of Marketing and Vice-Dean of the Graduate Studies Office. He received his PhD from London Business School and is well published, with his research appearing in over 100 academic journals. In 2012 he earned the Academic of Marketing Science (AMS) 2012 Outstanding Marketing Teacher Award. His research interest is in Service Marketing.

Kim Sun Bae

Professor Kim is currently a Practice Professor at the Department of Strategy and Policy. He has experience working at Goldman Sachs in Beijing, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Singapore. He received his PhD from University of Toronto.

MBA Consulting Project

This project allows students to take all they have been learning in Theory and apply it into practice. From analysing complex business strategies to defining core issues and exploring business opportunities, students emerge from this project with hands-on experience and a skill set necessary to succeed in the professional world. Over 3 or 4 months a team of 3 to 4 classmates work on a project that earns them credit towards graduation. This project will be supervised and findings will be presented to an academic supervisor and the company’s representatives.

Applicant Requirements

Students must have a strong academic degree from a reputable institution and at least 2 years of working experience before applying.


Transcripts must be submitted in English


Either the GMAT or GRE is required. Students with over 7 years of professional experience are allowed to take the EA in place of the GMAT or GRE.

Foreign Language Requirements

Applicants whose previous degrees were not taught exclusively in english must submit an English language test. Minimum TOEFL score is 100, IELTS is 6.5

Essay Description



Two professional references are required. These references can be from a former employer or current one. They must be able to evaluate the applicant’s abilities accurately.




All shortlisted applicants will be granted an interview. Possible evaluation tests may be necessary. Traits to emphasize: Strong leadership, Academic Excellence, Positive Impact.
